Meet winner of Grand National

THE winner of this year’s Grand National, Neptunes Collonges, will be the special guest at a charity fund-raiser.

Racehorse owner and trainer Claire Dyson is hosting an open day at her Cleeve Prior stables on September 9 in aid of the Midlands Air Ambulance and Racing Welfare.

Guests will be able to explore the 150-acre farm and see a parade of other horses at the yard. There will also be an opportunity to meet the jockeys who ride for Ms Dyson.

Celebrities from the racing world, such as Clare Balding and AP McCoy, have donated signed memorabilia for a charity auction.

Neptunes Collonges’ owners, the Hales family, will bring him to the yard to be photographed with guests.

The day starts at 10.30am at Froglands Farm, Froglands Lane, Cleeve Prior.
