Olympian opens fete

THE fourth Peopleton Autumn Show will have a former Olympian as its guest of honour this weekend.
Five times sprint canoe Olympian Andrew Train, of Fladbury, will open the show on Saturday and talk about his sporting career.
Together with his brother, Stephen, Mr Train took part in the Los Angeles, Seoul, Barcelona, Atlanta and Sydney Olympics.
Attractions planned for the day include classic cars, military vehicles, traction engines, vintage tractors, fruit and flower show, craft fair, stalls, music, games, competitions, tug of war, licensed bar and lots of food.
There will also be a demonstration by the Worcester Gun Dog Club.
The Peopleton Autumn Show starts at noon and ends at 6pm.
Entry is £3 for grown-ups and free for children aged under 16.
