Press is juice the job

SURPLUS apples and pears can be pressed at events held by a Worcester group this autumn.

People can bring apples and pears from their own trees and get them pressed into juice by volunteers from Transition Worcester Orchard Workers. Events are being held from 11am to 3pm on Saturday at Trotshill Community Orchard Open Day, Saturday, October 13, at Cripplegate Park and Saturday, October 27, at Laugherne Brook Local Nature Reserve. There are also events on Saturday, November 3, at Fort Royal Park or Commandery Gardens and Saturday, November 17, at the Countryside Centre.
