Vote for new councillor

PERSHORE residents will be voting for a new town councillor next Thursday.
Four candidates have put themselves forward for the byelection for the Holy Cross ward of the council after a councillor stepped down due to work commitments.
Up for the post is Danny Casey, of Woodward Road, Pershore; Susan Dolman, of The Milestone, Pershore; David Goodyear, of Barbourne in Worcester; and Tony Rowley, of Pensham, near Pershore.
The polling station will be at the Civic Centre and voting will take place between 7am and 10pm.
People are encouraged to call the elections office on 01386 565437 if they are unsure if they are eligible to vote on this occasion.
