Case is adjourned

A WOMAN who claims she had a medical reason for failing to provide a breath test has had her case adjourned.

Marlena Dolgopolova, of Port Street, Evesham, pleaded not guilty at Worcester Magistrates Court to failing to provide a specimen for analysis on Saturday, September 15.

Matt Dodson, prosecuting, explained that the 37-year-old had failed to give the breath test at the police station on the medical grounds that she had a bad throat.

He told the court that two police officers would be called as witnesses. CCTV footage is also due to be supplied.

Through a Russian interpreter, Dolgopolova was told she was granted unconditional bail and her case would be heard on Monday, December 31.
