A TEAM of students at Pershore High School have secured themselves a place in the final of a national engineering competition.
The team has taken part in the national Engineering Education Scheme, which allows students to work with Pershore company Allen Gears.
They learn to solve problems and experience engineering at first hand. The school’s team achieved a BA Crest for its design and solution along with winning an award for Most Creative Solution at the Regional Big Bang competition.
This has seen them secure a place at the national fnals in March. Pupil George Stephens said: “The National Science and Engineering Competition has taken us on an amazing journey.”
