Police counter

WYCHAVON District Council has welcomed the public service counter of Pershore police into its main office at the Civic Centre in the town.
The service moved to the council’s main office on Monday, October 1, and anyone wanting to report a crime, produce legal documentation or report lost or found property will now head there instead of to the neighbouring police station.
The police public service counter will be open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Ian Marshall, head of legal and support services at Wychavon, said: “We’re pleased to welcome the police public service counter to the range of other services we have on offer at the Pershore Community Contact Centre.
“It makes sense to have public services together to make it easier for customers and this already works well in Evesham.
