'Thank God for people like you', said impressed Prince
ELIZABETH Bolland, of Badsey, was appointed an MBE for services to Girl Guiding in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list.
She was given her award by the Prince of Wales at Windsor Castle on Friday. She said: “He asked if I was still active in Guiding and when I replied ‘yes sir’ he said ‘thank God for people like you’.” Mrs Bolland, who has been involved in Guiding for nearly 60 years, is pictured here with her husband Ralph.
