TWO impressive hotels have made it onto a list of the UK hotel industry's favourite hotels across Great Britain.

Leading figures from the UK hotel industry have voted, for a second year, in The Caterer magazine’s 2017 Hoteliers’ Hotels Top 100 list.

Foxhill Manor and Dormy House, both in Broadway, have impressive made the top 50, with Dormy Manor at 28 and Foxhill Manor at 31.

Foxhill Manor also impressively retained the title of Boutique Hotel of the Year, being recognised for its homely size, discreet location and locally sourced food in the cosy restaurant.

Both Worcestershire properties included have been voted in the top 50, with Foxhill Manor numbered at 31 and Dormy House at number 28.

The list was announced at a glittering award ceremony held at one of the UK’s hottest new hotels, the Ned in the City of London.

Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, in Great Milton, Oxfordshire, was named as the hoteliers’ number one overall hotel, beating last year’s winner Chewton Glen, Hampshire, to the top spot.

Amanda Afiya, editor of The Caterer, said: “We were delighted by the response to launch of the list last year and are excited by the engagement that this year’s list will create both in the industry and with guests.

"Hoteliers are the best judges of the UK hotel industry and the Hoteliers’ Hotel Top 100 showcases a wide breadth of properties that celebrates our Great British hotels.”
