LAW experts are hosting a series of free seminars across several locations to support small businesses to get ready for a big change in regulations.

Experts from Thursfields Solicitors, which has its head office in Worcester, are hosting the free seminars which are designed to support small businesses ahead of the EU’s new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) this May.

This Thursday, a talk is being held at the University of Worcester, Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) Hereford and Worcester branch event.

The talk features the practical steps organisations can take to make themselves GDPR-ready.

Thursfields will also host its own GDPR seminars at its HR Exchange forum on March 22, taking place at the law firm’s offices in Worcester, Solihull and Halesowen.

Michelle O’Hara said: “With only a few months to go before the GDPR regulations are introduced, the countdown is very much on. We all know that it is coming, but what key action should HR teams be taking to make sure they are prepared?"
