PARTNERS and customers of TSB bank in Moreton in Marsh have raised £260 for its local charity partner Cotswold Friends by holding two hamper prize draws during September and October.

The funds raised will be used to support Cotswold Friends in continuing to offer services to combat loneliness and isolation, which in turn help support independent living in Moreton. Kelly Harris, bank manager at TSB in the town, said: “Cotswold Friends is a vital part of our local community and we’re really proud to have them as our local charity partner. Our team in Moreton has worked hard, putting in a lot of time and dedication to make this hamper a success. We really enjoyed our fundraising for Cotswold Friends and it is fantastic to know the difference our efforts will make.”

Sue Thomas, administrator and finance officer at the Friends, added: "We are hugely grateful to TSB and its local partners in Moreton in Marsh. The money they are raising and the general support we’re getting is helping us to deliver really important services in Moreton. Having major businesses like TSB supporting us locally is a great way of making our community stronger.”

Instead of having a centrally chosen Charity of the Year, partners working at TSB are empowered to support a local cause that shares the bank’s passion for helping local communities thrive.
