PERSHORE firm DRG Interior & Building Solutions will be flying the flag for Worcestershire at the Midlands Business Awards, which take place in February.
The firm based at Hill Furze is the only company in the area to be up for a nomination in the businessman of the year award.
Owner Dan Gregory, who began his trade in ceilings and partitions, has slowly grown the business with his wife and co-founder Lyndsey Gregory and in the last five years it has grown and diversified into office conversions to residential apartments. However DRG stays true to its roots and continues to redesign and refit commercial buildings around the Midlands area. The mix of both types of work providing a steady and sustainable business, while using local contractors whenever possible to maintain a commitment to the region.
Mr Gregory said: "We feel exceptionally proud to be shortlisted, and if we don't win, having the recognition is an achievement in itself. Our success is down to the loyal contractors we have on site, the quality of local suppliers, and the support of our office staff. We all work hard to create a finished product that we are proud of. I couldn't do it without them all."
