A MUM of two has taken on the city franchise of the popular mums and babies exercise class, OneFitMama (OFM).

Rhiannon Bates is determined to ensure the group is more than just exercise, with her aim to make sure it is focused on taking care of mums in all aspects of health and wellbeing.

Ms Bates said: “I was diagnosed with postnatal depression in 2012 after the birth of my son. I really struggled to adapt to becoming a mum. I managed to overcome my illness with the help of my family and exercise.

"When I was expecting my little girl last year, I did worry lots about it coming back and how I would manage.

"My friend suggested I try OFM so I did. It was fantastic and just what I needed.

"It just so happens that the old instructor needed to give up the franchise so I stepped in and took it over."

OFM sessions are regularly held at various city locations including the Lyppard Hub, Kui De Tang Praying Mantis Martial Arts & Chinese Medicine Centre and Claines Parish Hall.

Sessions are designed by fitness professionals and new classes are also set to launch soon.

Free trial classes can be booked by emailing Ms Bates on worcester@onefitmama.co.uk.
