At our May meeting, Irene Tyack was the speaker. She gave us a very amusing talk about her early life and ambition to be an artist. She finally became an artist at the age of fifty years and created The Yellow Hat Tribe designs. Her work is hanging up all around the globe.
After Irene’s talk, members had the opportunity to buy cards and various items depicting her illustrations. Then we voted on this year’s resolution: ‘Mental Health Matters’.
Our next meeting will be held on Monday, June 11, when our speaker will be Celia Hargrave, she will talk about her garden at Trench Hill
The meeting commences at 7.30pm and takes place in St David’s Centre, Moreton in Marsh. We would be very pleased to welcome new members.
