WHAT a night we had on Valentines Day 2017.

Following the business matters and notices advertising a range of forthcoming events provided by the WI we rearranged our usual seating pattern into a large circle. Everyone present was a little apprehensive as to what was to come.

Linda Baker (Move it or Lose it) our guest for the evening then demonstrated a range of sitting exercises energising the upper body and knees and toes!

All present participated enthusiastically and THEN came the bean bag activity. Coordination being the object of this task it proved a challenge to some members of the group! Regardless we all carried on. As the titters turned into laughter the activity did seem less onerous although as things speeded up a number of the group acquired most of the bean bags.

The turn out for the evening was one of the highest and everyone agreed this was one of our best events. In thanking Linda, the comment was made “What a way to spend Valentines evening” and how wonderful it was to hear such laughter and to see all the smiling faces.
