MEMBERS at our meeting in October were highly entertained by Steven Bruce with anecdotes from the auction house.
His tales of house clearance requests and subsequent finds were very amusing. Ladies had been asked to take along an item they wanted valued and Steven kindly looked at every one. Sentimental reasons would probably mean that few would be parted with however.
November is our AGM and fish and chip supper and we also hope to have some entertainment during the evening. A few of our committee members are stepping down this time due to other commitments so we will hope to welcome some new faces and new ideas.
Our Christmas meal is to be at Kings Court Hotel near Alcester on December 15.
