THE Speaker at the May meeting of the Friendship Centre was Paul Harding . His talk on the 1950’s was very entertaining and brought back many memories to our members who thoroughly enjoyed looking back to the fashions in food as well as clothes and iconic inventions that made such a big impact on our lives. I am sure he is by far one of the best speakers that we have had . There is to be a visit to Bath Xmas Market on December 3rd and a visit is to be planned to Highgrove in 2018. Looking ahead at the August meeting there will be no speaker but a social with a bottle tombola and free refreshments. The next meeting will be the AGM on June 26 and it will be a social with free refreshments. Our meetings take place at the Peopleton Village Hall 10.30am for 11am. visitors and new members are very welcome please ring Pauline on 01905 458458 for more information.
