Burglary at Broadway garage
12:14pm Monday 28th April 2008
THIEVES broke into a Broadway garage and made away with a large quantity of cigarettes and tobacco products.
The incident happened at Station Road Garage, on Station Road, on Thursday (24) between 11.10pm and 11.30pm.
A car, which is believed to have been silver in colour, drove onto the garage forecourt before a number of offenders broke into the petrol station.
The front door was damaged during the burglary and forced customers using the garage the next day to go round the back to pay for fuel.
The value of goods stolen is not yet known.
