We should consider ourselves lucky and be grateful to our Doctors for telling us how the recent Government orders will effect their business and our health care.
If only more people would stand up and say what is happening to them then perhaps this governmental meddling nonsense could be alleviated.
There is one local matter that your readers in the Pershore area might consider standing up and saying about and that is the recently proposed 20MPH speed limit to cover the centre of Pershore. The area concerned includes Newlands and Head Street. Those who feel that this proposal is unwelcome, if not another absurd part of the "disenchantment scheme", have until March 13 to send their objections to Simon Mallinson at County Hall WR5 2NP.
One question that might be asked is that, if this restriction is necessary for safety reasons, are we to assume that the present roadworks in the centre of the town are making the High Street more dangerous than it was before?
