I was dissapointed to hear that although the Town Council have said that they back the Evesham Bagbusters Campaign but they will not help fund it.
The issue about plastic bags is now so huge, and has hit national press, that each town should be doing all it can to support such campaigns, after all it is for the benefit of the town as well as the whole environment.
I am hoping that the Journal can get behind this campaign, and if the Town Council won't put their money where their mouth is, then others will get behind this group and help then to help the town.
I am sure what this group is doing costs money, so please back them, it is our town after all.
