Poor paying for the pensions

MANY pensioners, lacking heat and food are paying for gold plated pensions of council workers!

It was only three or four years ago that the Taxpayers Alliance were warning us that this Labour government had allowed a back log of funding to build up in civil servants pensions, amounting to billions. I am sure that little did we think at the time, that the council tax payer would be saddled with clearing this debt' which was of the governments making.

Pensions for council office workers are costing the equivalent of a fifth of all council taxes; on average £300 per household.

Now we know why the council tax has doubled in recent years; it is not for our services but office workers pensions!
