Show some road sense!

I AM a long vehicle driver, and earlier on today I was leaving Evesham, driving an articulated lorry, heading out of town on the A46 towards the roundabout at the top of the Cheltenham Road.
On that roundabout I gave way to two cyclists, expecting them to come round the roundabout and continue their journey on that really nice cycle path, but oh no, they stayed on the road. This then caused a queue of slow moving traffic, as I was unable to pass them for some considerable distance, pulling a 40ft trailer means that I cannot just pull out and pass cyclists like a car might be able to. We are asked to look out for, and respect cyclists, I would not expect it to be too much trouble for them to give the same courtesy to other road users, when they have their own special piece of road on which to travel. They might try using it!
