THERE are billions of pounds of tax money, lying idly in Brown's pockets, unclaimed by pensioners.
This is money that pensioners are entitled to claim for benefits but don't, for various reasons; too proud; claim forms too complicated or too intrusive; Brown knows all the reasons, and many will have long gone, leaving Brown a rich man.
The money belongs to the pensioners; having been earmarked in various budgets over ten, new Labour years' an honest government; a government that was concerned about the welfare of the elderly, would distribute this money to all pensioners just as they do, with all other benefits, like baby bonds and childrens weekly allowances. Is it the pensioners who have paid and are still paying for the Blair/Brown wars!
