AM I the only person who despairs of the everyday inefficiency of this country? It seems to apply to every segment of society. How many hours do we all spend hanging on the other end of a phone only to be diverted and asked to repeat our sorry tale to another incompetent. Documents are lost exposing our details to all and sundry. Nobody cares about service any more and we all accept it. Why?
The answer is don't give in, fight back. When you don't get the service you expect tell them, they record all the calls, and if enough of us complain, and threaten to go elsewhere things will change. I know it is just one more hassle in the daily grind, but it is a truism "we get the service we deserve", so persevere.
