Chance to be up with big boys

My wife and I have lived in Pershore for some 12 years. We love the place.

Firstly may I congratulate the authorities for the work just recently carried out on the High Street. Well done. The works have been disruptive but the result is a big improvement. What a pity the whole street could not have been included. Let's hope that the 'swanky' new street will attract more and better quality shops .... there is no reason why we can't be a Burford or a Chipping Campden! Congratulations too on the suspension of parking charges to more realistic levels during the project.

And now the brick bats.

Parking used to be 50p per hour .... now we have had a 40 per cent increase to 70p. When will you ever learn!?
