AN Evesham teenager could be the next top model after making it through to the final heat of a beauty competition.
Kiera Lewis, of Fairfield Road, Evesham, is hoping to make it into the finals of Miss Teen UK, a beauty pageant which could help the winner enter the world of modelling.
The 13-year-old was chosen to appear on the Teen Queen website where the public will vote for their favourite with the top two girls from each age category going through to the finals in London next year.
The sports-mad Evesham High School pupil loves rugby and plays hockey for the county.
Proud dad Andy said it was the first beauty competition she had entered.
“I’m one happy parent,” he said. “So is her mum. She’s got this far and is beginning to get noticed by people. I’m a proud dad. She just needs to get as many votes as possible to get her through.
She’s doing it for Evesham.
She’s representing the town.”
The text vote is now open and ends at 11.30pm on Thursday, November 15. For details and to vote, visit missteenqueenuk.com
