THIS spring an exhibition will unite the work of two artists inspired by the landscape of the Malvern Hills.
Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum presents Skylight Landscape, where Malvern Wells-based artist David Prentice brings together his own vibrant paintings with those of Paul Nash, the most evocative landscape painter of the Twentieth Century.
David Prentice is an internationally renowned landscape painter, whose work can be found in public, corporate and private collections, including the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and New York's Museum of Modern Art.
He uncovered the story of Paul Nash's drawings and paintings of the Malvern Hills in 1997 and for this exhibition, David has selected works by himself and by Nash, in order to share the intimate and inspiring story of the artistic influence of a little corner of England.
Skylight Landscape runs from Saturday, May 3 to Saturday, July 5 in the Foregate Street attraction.
Entry is free and the art gallery is open Monday to Saturday, from 10.30am to 4.30pm.
