A TEENAGER was assaulted by four men in a "cowardly and unprovoked attack" in Worcester city centre.
The 19-year-old victim was set upon in Angel Street, Worcester at around 5.10am on Thursday (September 18).
During the attack he was knocked to the floor and kicked and punched repeatedly. Pictured are two males the police want to speak to in connection with the attack.
PC Matt Digger from the Worcester response team at West Mercia Police said: "This was an unprovoked, cowardly attack by a group of males which could have resulted in significant injury for the victim. He was lucky to escape with mainly only cuts and bruises."
A male, aged 18, who was arrested in relation to this incident has been released on police bail pending enquiries. The public can contact us on 101 or alternatively through Crimestoppers if they prefer and should quote our incident reference 68S 180914.
