AS the economy takes an up-turn, plans are afoot to expand Upton Business Centre.
For the first time in a number of years, Martin Wilesmith and his son Mark, owners of the business centre in Welland Road, are undertaking the first speculative industrial development in the area, by increasing the available space at the centre by 20 per cent.
Two new units are being built to meet the demand for business space for both starter units and existing businesses wishing to expand. The units will be very energy efficient with high insulation values, giving substantial savings to the occupiers in heating.
Penny Cook, property manager for both Upton Business Centre and Link Business Centre in Malvern, said: "Interest has already been shown in the units, which are scheduled for completion by the end of 2014."
Upton Business Centre has been providing modern business accommodation since 2000 in a secure environment with an active management team on hand to support and assist the tenants.
