AN amazing Lotto prize worth £51,678 has yet to be claimed from a ticket bought in Wychavon.

National Lottery players in the district, which includes Droitwich, Pershore and Evesham, are being urged to check and double-check their tickets in case they have the winning numbers at home.

The draw took place Wednesday, September 17, and winning numbers were 9, 19, 22, 34, 41, 46 and the bonus ball was 6.

The lucky ticket-holder now has until Monday, March 16, to claim their prize.

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.

To help jog Lotto players’ memories about what was happening on or around the time of the draw in question, Worcester Warriors were in action the week before when they welcomed Mosely to the Sixways Stadium and ran out comprehensive 23-7 winners.

And the week after when Warriors continued their winning streak, this time on the road at Doncaster where they triumphed 32-16.

Away from sport, tribute band, After Midnight, performed their Classic Clapton 2014 tour at Worcester’s Huntingdon Hall on the night of the draw.

Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000.
