BRAVE children got the chance to thank air ambulance crews who helped save their lives at a special Christmas Party last weekend.
The annual event at the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity headquarters in Strensham on Saturday, December 13 included games, a chance to look around inside one of the helicopters and a visit from Father Christmas himself.
The charity’s fundraising and marketing director Jason Levy said: “It was heartening to see the children enjoying themselves and everyone was really in the Christmas spirit.
“In several of the youngsters’ cases the Midlands Air Ambulance was called as their incidents were extremely serious, or even life threatening, so to be able to welcome them to one of our airbases and see so many smiles was very special.”
Food and toys at the event were contributed by a range of businesses in the area.
