A TEENAGER was threatened by a knife-wielding robber in Malvern

The victim, aged 19, was walking past The Chase school in Geraldine Road at around 10.45pm last night when he was approached from behind by a man.

He was threatened and told to hand over his belongings, while the robber held a knife to his throat.

As the victim had no property on him, the attacker made off empty-handed towards an alleyway near QinetiQ.

Nobody was injured during the incident, but the victim was "left very shaken".

Police have launched an appeal for information.

A description of the offender said he is white, around 5ft 11in and was wearing a large black coat and blue jeans.

He also had a local accent.

DC Al Mulcaster, the investigating officer, said: "We are taking this offence very seriously and are eager to trace the man responsible.

"Thankfully, the victim wasn’t injured during the incident but he was left very shaken."
