A MAN was arrested following 'threats to kill' in Bath Road, Worcester this morning.

Police attended an address in Bath Road, Worcester at 1.50am this morning where there were concerns for the safety of one of the occupants.

A 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of threats to kill and is currently in custody.
No one was injured.

The A38 Bath Road was closed for several hours whilst officers dealt with the incident.

Supt Kevin Purcell, the policing commander for south Worcestershire, said a male had been 'making threats to kill' but that the incident had now been 'safely resolved'

Police activity has also been reported in the Diglis area with one man led away by police from an address there.

Traffic has been slow due to the police incident with police directing traffic. The Operations Patrol Unit from West Mercia Police was at the scene.
