- We're now covering this police operation live here.
THIS was the dramatic moment police smashed down the door of a Worcester house to execute a drugs warrant.
Two males and one female have been arrested on suspicion of drug dealing following the operation in Malvern Road, St John's, this morning.
Cannabis, a white powder - believed to be cocaine or mephedrone - and £300 in cash have been seized.
Mobile phones and drug paraphernalia including needles and weighing scales have been bagged by police as evidence.
Two males, aged 26 and 23, and a 34-year-old female have been taken into custody.
The raid, which took place at 6am, was part of Operation Protect - a major initiative with warrants being implemented across Worcestershire today.
Anti-social behaviour and partying at the property, which had a stripper pole installed in the lounge, had caused real problems for the local community, according to officers.
Sergeant Dave Knight, of West Mercia Police, said: "The operation has been a great success.
"It has sent a message out to the community that we will respond to any concerns they have.
"We always take drug use and supply seriously. It has a detrimental effect on society as it is directly linked to crime.
"These arrests will send a message out to drug dealers in Worcester and I hope the public feel reassured by our actions."
Leaflets have been distributed to neighbours informing them of the police activity on the road today.
