BURGLARS broke into a barn, stole motorbikes and animals and killed a goose by standing on it.

The raid happened at Grovers Close, Harvington, near Evesham, between 11.15pm on Sunday, April 12, and 7.15am the following day.

The barn in a field was raided after the burglars cut a padlock on a double gate just off the road, cut another padlock on a second gate further into the field then went to a barn/storage shed by cutting out a link in a chain that secured the barn doors.

They also cut padlocks on the doors.

Once inside they stole a motor cross and quad bike, three hens and a stag (these were Kushiro breed), bird feeders and baby geese (Teelese breed).

They also killed one of the geese by standing on it.
