A WORCESTER singer and her band are appearing live on Britain's Got Talent tonight (Tuesday, May 26).
Kate Playdon and her group the Honeybuns impressed the judges on Saturday to win a place in the semi-finals.
The six-strong group performed the Weather Girls' classic It's Raining Men, getting a standing ovation from the audience and four 'yeses' from Alesha Dixon, David Walliams, Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell.
Now they will hope to progress to the grand final with another stunning show this evening.
Miss Playdon, aged 26, is a former Alice Ottley pupil and member of Worcester Operatic and Dramatic Society. Originally from Kempsey, she now lives in London.
Tonight's show is on ITV at 7.30pm, followed by the results show at 9.30pm.
