FORGET about walking the plank - these not so scary pirates were getting ready for the Big Toddle at Hanley Swan Pre-school.

The walk was held in aid of Barnardo's children’s charity and the youngsters toddled five laps of the playing field to music.

Along the way they collected jungle animals and had lots of fun with some parents joining in the fun at the village hall to cheer them on.

The pre-school is having an open morning on Saturday, June 6 from 10am to 12pm.
