THE popular Splashpad at Worcester’s Gheluvelt Park has been forced to close today after developing a fault with its safety detection system.
Worcester City Council said contractors had visited the site this morning and identified the fault, which was causing the pad to cut out without notice.
A new part is required to fix the fault, but the pad is not expected to be able to reopen until Thursday.
