WILDLIFE enthusiasts in Worcestershire and across Britain are invited to take part in a survey of mammals living alongside roads.

The Mammals on Roads survey by People’s Trust for Endangered Species runs until the end of September. Participants can record any wildlife – dead or alive – spotted on car journeys through a free smartphone or tablet app, which is available for Apple or Android devices.

Each car journey must be at least 20 miles long on a single road over one day and results will be used to monitor the state of wildlife across the UK.

The survey can also be completed online at ptes.org/get-involved or a printed pack can be ordered by calling 020 7498 4533 or emailing mor@ptes.org.
