LIDL is recalling cans of herring fillets - because they contain fish.
The budget supermarket is recalling assorted flavours of its Nixe brand assorted Herring Fillets (200g) because it does not mention on the label in English that they contain fish, milk, egg, mustard and wheat (gluten).
They could pose a possible health risk to anyone with an allergy or intolerance to one of the ingredients.
The affected products are:

No other Lidl products are known to be affected.
People who have bought any of the cans of herring and have an allergy or intolerance to any the allergens are told not to eat it.
Instead, they should return it to the store from where they bought it for a full refund.
