A CRASH involving a HGV and a car on the M5 southbound at junction six has caused long delays and lane closures.
Emergency services are at the scene and the event is expected to clear by 1pm, with normal traffic conditions resuming at 2pm.
Traffic is not moving between junction five and six on the M5 southbound.
A Highways England spokesman said: "Following a minor collision between a HGV and a car at 10.35am, lanes 2 and 3 were closed.
"The HGV was able to drive away from the scene, lane 1 remained open, and once the car was recovered, the carriageway was fully reopened at 11.23am."
The tweet adds delays will take time to clear but are beginning to ease.
Following an earlier collision all lanes now open #M5 S/B within J6 (#Worcester). Delays will take time to clear but are beginning to ease.
