A POSTMAN was threatened with a knife in Bromsgrove.
West Mercia Police is investigating an incident in Bromsgrove in which a postman was threatened with a knife, and officers are appealing for help from the public to trace the offenders.
At about 9.15am on Friday, September 16 the postman, who was in uniform, returned to his personal car which was parked in Austin Road, near to the Co-op store in Gilbert Road, where he became involved in an altercation with two men.
As he tried to drive away along Gilbert Road the altercation continued, resulting in one of the men threatening the postman with a knife.
He was not injured.
The offenders are described as follows:
One is white, 18-20 years old, about 5ft 8ins tall, clean shaven with short hair. He was wearing a dark baseball cap, jacket, jogging bottoms and trainers.
The second is white, 18-21 years old, about 5ft 8ins tall with short hair and facial stubble. He was also wearing a dark baseball cap, jacket, tracksuit bottoms and trainers.
A number of people and cars were in the area at the time of the incident so investigating officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any of it.
