TWO crashes took place in Evesham, both involving the same motorbike rider who was seriously injured in the second.

The first took place in Cheltenham Road, Evesham and the second near to the roundabout in Falkland Road, Evesham.

A motorbike and a pedal cyclist were in a crash in Cheltenham Road, resulting in both riders coming off their motorbike and bicycle.

A man in his 50s received injuries to his hand which required a visit to hospital.

The motorcyclist then remounted the motorbike and continued on with his journey.

Police believe the motorcyclist travelled along the A46 between Cheltenham road and the 'Strawberry fields roundabout' in between the two collisions.

Police, upon attendance, closed the road at Davies Road by the junction with Hawthorn Road while air ambulance crews attended to the motorcyclist.

A man in his 20s was airlifted to hospital.
