TICKETS are still available for a quiz night to raise money for a Worcester animal charity.

The fundraising evening for Worcester & District Cats Protection includes the quiz, raffle, bar and fish and chip supper.

Teams should be four to six strong, but if you wish to join in and don’t have a team, you can be placed with others.

Fran Holder, manager of the branch's charity shop in St John's, Worcester, said: "Rosie, our fundraising officer, has organised some great raffle prizes, including a one to one day with local artist Valerie Briggs and a few hours genealogy with a local specialist.

"Valerie is also a foster mum for the branch and is generously offering her expertise free of charge to help the local cats in care.

"There are many other brilliant prizes to be won that have been provided by other local businesses.

"Please come along, have some fun and help us raise some much-needed funds for the cats in our care."

The event starts at 7.30pm this Friday, July 21, at Fernhill Heath War Memorial Club (73 Droitwich Road, Fernhill Heath, Worcester, WR3 8RJ).

To buy your tickets, priced £10 per person, pop into the shop or buy them through Rosie at fundraising@worcester.cats.org.uk, info@worcestercats.org.uk, or call 01905 425704.
