HENRY is an 11-month-old beagle in the care of RSPCA Worcester and Mid-Worcestershire Branch.

He is looking for his forever home with an experienced dog owner and preferably with beagle knowledge.

Geraldine Haynes, branch trustee, said: "Henry is a very sweet natured, loving dog, but extremely energetic and boisterous - as you would expect for a young dog of this breed.

"He needs someone who is at home a good proportion of the day and can give him lots of exercise and attention, without young children."

Henry is housetrained, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Please call Geraldine on 01886 822083 for more information.

For more rescued animals seeking adoption, visit the branch website: rspcaworcester.org.uk or call Geraldine on the number above for dogs or Pamela on 01905 841354 for cats and rabbits.

The cats can be viewed at the branch's rescue centre, The Holdings, Holdings Lane, Broomhall, near Worcester WR5 3FP any day (except Wednesdays) from 11am to 4pm. You can contact the centre on 07484 905707. Dogs are still boarded at private kennels until the funds have been raised to build kennels at The Holdings.

There was a really good response to last week's appeal to rehome some of the branch's cats.

Dolly, the cat with a cleft lip, has been offered a home as well as five other cats, pending home visits.

It means the branch can take in some of the cats currently waiting at vets.
