FIRE crews were called to reports of someone in the river in Evesham.
The incident occurred at around 6.20pm on Thursday, August 24 from Workman Gardens.
They found the man, reported to be in his 40s, had been rescued prior to their arrival.
An air ambulance also attended the scene, whilst Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service sent two water rescue boats.
He was discharged from the scene safely.
