A BAKERY technologist won the Customer Focus Award at the 2017 Baking Industry Awards.
Kate Woods was presented with her award by Denise Van Outen at the awards ceremony London Hilton on Park Lane.
Ms Woods, who lives in Evesham, is a bakery technologist at Chipping Campden based food science and technology company Campden BRI. She works with clients on new product development, research and test baking.
She won the award for her work on the potential health benefits of nutritionally enriched flour in baked products.
Ms Woods worked with a client to develop a water biscuit that was used in a medical study.
Ms Woods said: "I am extremely proud to have won the Customer Focus Award. It has highlighted the amazing work of the Baking and Cereal Processing department at Campden BRI, providing well deserved recognition for the entire team."
