OFFICERS investigating a handbag theft in Pershore are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
A woman in her 30s was walking along Little Priest Lane shortly after 12.30pm on Friday (December 22) when an unknown offender reportedly snatched her handbag, containing cash, from her shoulder.
The victim suffered minor injuries and was left shaken up by the incident, while the man – who had his face covered and was thought to be wearing a dark hoody – ran off.
There are no further descriptions of the man at this time.
Enquiries are currently on-going, but officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time.
