AFTER a frosty start, today is expected to be dry and largely sunny throughout, according to the Met Office.
Winds will ease as the day progresses, meaning by the afternoon it won't feel as cold as Thursday, despite similar temperatures which are likely to peak at 7 °C.
The evening will be cold and possibly frosty, while cloud will build up overnight and rain will arrive in by Saturday morning, turning to snow on the hills.
