EASTER Monday “could be a horror show” with cold, heavy rain and transient snow a possibility.
Those planning outdoor activities over the bank holiday are being warned to keep an eye on forecasts.
Dave Throup, the Environment Agency manager for Herefordshire and Worcestershire, tweeted a weather chart this morning, along with the warning.
“Easter Monday could be a horror show!” he wrote.
“Cold, heavy rain, even transient snow possible. If you’ve got outdoor plans keep an eye on forecasts as detail becomes clearer.”
Speaking to the Worcester News, however, he said “it’s still uncertain”.
“It certainly looks like a cold, wet and windy Monday as far as we're concerned.
“We’ll be keeping an eye on the flood ground, in terms of saturation.
“But it’s four days away, so it could change,” he added.
